Eilidh was brought up in Inverness but spent much of her childhood on the beautiful Isle of Skye.
"I loved the hills and lochs and sea around the island and decided from a young age that I’d want to make Skye my home one day. It was special fun helping out on my grandpa’s croft - he was a local vet, from sheep and cattle to climbing the hills and swimming in the lochs from time to time - Old Vet’s Pool is still one of my favourites.
With my dad from Skye and my mum from North Uist, I enjoyed the Gaidhlig language and culture from a young age."
