  2. How do I get here?

    You'll find our hotels dotted across North-West Scotland. Find directions and travel information for each one, here.

  3. How do I make a booking?

    Simply click the 'Book' button and follow the steps to book. Or, if you'd prefer, you can give us a call on +44 (0) 1470 373737.

  4. How do I check, amend or cancel my booking?

    Please contact our reservations team to amend your booking. If you booked through a third-party website like Expedia or, then you'll need to contact them directly to discuss your booking.

  5. What size beds do you offer?

    Bed sizes vary from double to king and super-king. If you have a preference, or require twin beds, please contact our team to confirm.

  6. Do you offer a laundry service?

    Yes, we offer a laundry service for all of our guests. Please allow 24 hours for this service, and chat to our team if you have any questions.

  7. What time can I check in and out?

    Check in from 3pm and check out any time before 11am. If you're planning to explore the area before check-in or after check-out, storing luggage is no problem.

  8. Do you have ground-level rooms with walk-in shower?

    Ground-level rooms are available at each hotel in our collection. Please call our team to check availability and for any special requirements.

  9. Do I need to book dinner?

    We strongly advise that you make your dinner reservations prior to arrival to avoid disappointment. You can find our opening times on our hotels' Dine pages, and make your reservation online or by contacting our team.

  10. When is reception open?

    Our Sonas family are on hand from 7am to 11pm. Get in touch and we'll be happy to help or answer any questions you might have.

  11. Is there car parking available?

    There's free onsite parking at each of our hotels.

  12. Do you have an electric charging point?

    There's an electric car charger at Skeabost which guests are welcome to use during their stay. Please note, we don't have electric charging onsite at Duisdale, Toravaig, or Knipoch.

  13. Do the rooms have air conditioning?

    As our hotels are historic in nature, there's no air conditioning in the rooms - except for the Lodge Rooms at Duisdale. We also have electric fans available on request at all our hotels.

  14. Can I bring kids?

    At Duisdale, we have a two-bedroom Garden Cottage, and at Skeabost, we have a two-bedroom Family Suite with bunk beds - perfect for family stays. We also have a few rooms with sofa beds suitable for one child aged 3 to 15 at Skeabost, Duisdale and Knipoch.

    At Toravaig, most of our rooms are suitable for two people, but we can supply cots for young children under the age of two. Cots can be supplied at all of our other hotels too.

    Not all rooms have sofa beds to please contact reservations to check.

    Please note, our room rate is based on two adults sharing so additional costs will apply for children and the use of cots.

  15. Can I bring my dog?

    Four-legged friends are welcome in all rooms at Knipoch Hotel, most rooms at Duisdale Hotel, and in our Garden Rooms at Skeabost. Unfortunately, no dogs are permitted at Toravaig Hotel.

    You can bring up to two dogs for £25 per dog per night, which includes a comfy dog bed and water bowl.

    We kindly ask that dogs are not left unattended for long periods of time in our bedrooms. You can find out more in our Dog Policy, here. Or, get in touch with our team if you have any questions.

  16. Hot Tub

    We have a hot tub at Knipoch and a hot tub and swim spa at Duisdale. There is a fee of £10 per person for a 30 minute session including towels.
