Skye High Tours

The Sonas Collection have collaborated with travel experts Skye Luxury Touring to create a unique four day luxury West Coast experience showcasing two of Scotland’s must see destinations – Oban and the Isle of Skye.

Enjoy a moment of escapism as you walk along paths of the famed Trotternish Peninsula in Skye. Soak up the energy of the crowd at a ceilidh gig in the heart of Oban. Feel the burn of joy and success as you finish your first 'dram' in one of Scotland’s famed distilleries, or perhaps just enjoy the clean air, uninterrupted vistas and then kick back and relax in your stunning country house hotel.

All these moments and more are calling you to Scotland. We’re a country of stunning landscapes from our mountains to our lochs and glens, and equally we embrace creativity and take inspiration from nature and the abundance of wildlife that inhabit our lands and seas. Scotland is a place to escape the pressures of the everyday, trying something new, and creating memories that will last a lifetime.

We can’t wait to share our Scotland with you.

Your Itinerary

Day 1
Your four day West Coast experience starts in Oban, the Seafood capital of Scotland. Arriving at Knipoch House hotel, and after a personal check in to your stunning loch view room, you’ll receive our first-class Scottish welcome with pre dinner drinks by the log fire before a six course taste of Scotland menu in the historic 1635 restaurant.

Day 2
After a peaceful night, you will be met by your personal driver guide, who will be with you for your wonderful West Highland experience. From Knipoch, you’ll head by ferry from Oban to the breathtaking Isle of Mull for a day of fine Scottish fare. Bespoke whisky tasting at Tobermory Distillery (for those who are more partial to a gin, this offering is also available), lunch in the infamous Café Fish and a cheese experience at the Isle of Mull Cheese Company.

Day 3
Leaving Oban, you will head north to the magical Isle of Skye, taking in Glencoe and the Glenfinnan viaduct (made famous by the Harry Potter steam train, The Hogwarts Express), along the spectacular "Road to the Isles" and a ferry crossing to the Misty Isle. Or why not elevate your experience with a once in a lifetime helicopter tour, seeing the West Highlands from the sky, landing at Duisdale House Hotel.
On arrival you’ll explore Skye’s southern peninsula, visiting  the Clan MacDonald heartland and the famous Armadale Castle and Gardens before a visit to Torabhaig Distillery. Then it’s checking in to your hotel for a champagne reception and private use of the garden hot tub and swim spa. With 2 Rosettes and a focus on creative menus with fresh local produce dining at Duisdale is always a special occasion.

Day 4
Today it’s time to take in the highlights of Skye - including the world famous Trotternish Peninsula and it's Old Man of Storr and The Quiraing , before lunch at historic Skeabost House Hotel and then a visit to the world famous Talisker Distillery. If time allows, your driver guide may even take you to see the world renowned Fairy Pools. After a day of sight seeing, you are then back at Duisdale to enjoy a farewell dinner and a dram or two in the Chart Room bar by the log fire.
Next day we say farewell to Skye.
