Glencruitten Golf Course

Glencruitten Golf Course is James Braid’s hidden gem nestling among the hills of Glencruitten Estate on the outskirts of Oban, only 10 minutes from Knipoch. It is also the course where local lad, Ryder Cup Winner and recent Canadian and Scottish Open winner, Bob Macintyre honed his skills. The course has a par of 62 but don’t let that fool you. This is one of the most challenging courses you will play. The topography and the changes in height between tees and greens mean that the numerous part 3’s are very tricky for both professional and amateurs. There are some blind shots and local knowledge will make your life easier, meaning you will have to keep coming back to enjoy the challenge. As the bench on the 13th tee says “no matter what happening with your round site down and rest a while and take in the glorious scenery we are lucky to have around. The club is open year round. Summer opening from 7.30 am to 8.00 pm TeeTimes - £40 Monday to Friday and £50 Saturday and Sunday. Our team at Knipoch can help you book your tee time.

Machrihanish

Come experience the majestic beauty of Machrihanish Dunes on Scotland's stunning west coast! With breathtaking views over the Atlantic Ocean, majestic dunescape and a world-top-100 course, it's a golfer's paradise. Let your imagination run wild as you craft golf shots just like the game's Scottish creators Tom Morris did centuries ago.

Machrie

Did you know that The Machrie has been a haven for golfers since 1891? With its unique design conceived by Willie Campbell and challenging 'blind' shots, it's a course that requires skill, imagination, and precision. The new course has preserved the artistry while providing a fresh twist. Come experience the magic of golf at The Machrie!
