Tales from the Fireside
What better way to learn about the mysteries and legends of Skye than from one of the locals. Coinneach Maclean our local Skye historian here in Sleat, has many tales to tell regarding the true stories that created Skye’s history and heritage.
We continue to celebrate Scotland’s Year of Stories, at Duisdale House Hotel with after dinner enrichment from Coinneach, who will be by the fireside to bring to life the mysteries and unravel the misconceptions around Skye’s heritage. From Sea Kings and Skye’s Greatest Villains to real tales of Bonnie Prince Charlie in Skye, Coinneach will entertain with a repertoire of local stories. Whether your interest is Gaelic, Local Traditions or the Supernatural, Coinneach has many tales to tell.
This free event runs on the first Saturday of each month at 9pm. We recommend booking a table for dinner before you enjoy these talks.
