1. Kinloch Forest and Leitir Fura – a delightful 4 mile woodland walk with views across the Sound of Sleat.
2. Point of Sleat – a 3 to 4 hour walk to the lighthouse at the southernmost point of Skye. Good spot for seeing marine mammals and views to the islands of Eigg and Rum.
3. Flodigarry Fossils Walk – A short one hour walk exploring the coastline at Flodigarry – one of the best spots on Skye for hunting fossils
4. Fairy Glen – a short one hour walk to visit the delightful miniature landscape of grassy, cone-shaped hills, the Fairy Glen (sometimes spelt Faerie Glen) is a fascinating and otherworldly place to visit on a sunny summer’s day.
5. Eynort Forest Walk – This straightforward, waymarked walk through forestry plantations offers some fine views over Loch Eynort, with picnic benches.
